Option B · Dispatch Service

Keep Your Authority.
Lose the Headache.

You built your MC. Keep it. We'll keep it loaded.

What we do

Services

You keep the authority, the insurance, the customers, and the control. We find the freight and fight for the rate.

Load Searching & Booking

We work the boards and our broker network so your truck isn't sitting.

Rate Negotiation

We don't take the first offer. That's most of what you're paying us for.

Broker Setup & Packets

New broker packets completed and returned so you're not doing paperwork at 10pm.

Document Management

Rate cons, BOLs, PODs — collected, filed, and where you need them.

Billing & Invoicing Support

Invoices out clean and on time so you get paid without chasing.

Factoring Coordination

We work with your factor and keep the paperwork moving.

Safety & DOT Support

Compliance stays yours — but you're not figuring it out alone.

24/7 Dispatch

Detention at midnight is still detention. We pick up.

Looking for dedicated runs? Contact dispatch to check availability for dedicated runs in your area — (947) 237-4665. Lanes open and close by region, so it's worth a call before you assume we don't have them.

Pricing

What It Costs

Stated plainly, because this is the first thing you'll compare — and anyone who hides it is hiding something.

Option 1

Percentage of Linehaul

5% of gross linehaul per load.

We earn more when you earn more. Good if your revenue swings week to week.

Option 2

Flat Weekly Fee

$250 per truck, per week.

Fixed cost you can plan around. Good if you run strong, steady revenue.

You pick. Same service either way — the only difference is how we get paid. Call sales and we'll tell you honestly which one costs you less based on what your truck actually grosses.

The process

How It Works

01

02

Send Your MC, Insurance and W-9

That's the whole document list.

03

Sign the Dispatch Agreement

Plain terms. Cancel with notice — we don't lock people in.

04

We Start Booking

Usually the same week.

What You Need

"You're a carrier AND a dispatch service. Isn't that a conflict?"

Fair question, and it's the first one every carrier with his own MC should ask. Here's the straight answer.

Our dispatch clients run on their own authority. We book them from the open market — the same load boards, the same brokers, the same rates anybody else can see. Their loads are theirs. Their customer relationships are theirs. Their authority is theirs.

We're paid on your success, not ours. We don't have a pile of company freight we're trying to unload on you first. We're not choosing between our trucks and your truck, because your truck is your business and we work for you on it.

If we ever put our interest ahead of yours, you fire us with a phone call. That's the whole arrangement, and we'd rather say it out loud than have you wonder.

Questions

Straight answers

The things carriers ask us before they sign. If something isn't here, call and ask.

What does Fair Miles charge for dispatch?

5% of linehaul, or a flat $250 per truck per week — your choice, whichever works better for how you run. No setup fee and no minimum contract. The pricing is published here rather than held back until a sales call.

Do you force dispatch?

No. You see the load, the rate, and the lane before you accept anything. Turning down freight that doesn't work for your week is part of running your own business.

Are you a freight broker?

No. Fair Miles Logistics is an FMCSA-authorized motor carrier and a dispatch service. We work with brokers on your behalf, but we are not one. Our dispatch clients run on their own authority and book from the open market.

Whose authority do lease-on drivers run under?

Lease-on runs under our sister carrier, J J Transportation Inc, MC 893705 — active since 2014 with a 0.0% out-of-service rate on both vehicle and driver inspections. Fair Miles Logistics LLC and J J Transportation Inc are sister companies under common ownership.

Can you get me higher rates than I'm getting now?

We can't book loads that don't exist, and anyone promising a specific rate before seeing your lanes and equipment is guessing. What we do is know your lanes, work broker relationships, read every rate confirmation before you sign, and avoid freight that costs you the rest of the week.

How many carriers does each dispatcher handle?

We keep the ratio deliberately low. Your dispatcher should know your truck, your lanes, and what you won't haul without you re-explaining it every month.

Do I need my own authority to use your dispatch service?

Yes. Dispatch clients keep their own MC authority and their own insurance. If you don't have your own authority, the lease-on program is the other path.

What equipment types do you dispatch?

Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, hotshot, and box truck.

When do settlements go out?

Lease-on drivers are settled every Friday, itemized, by direct deposit. Dispatch clients are paid by their own factor or customers; we support factoring coordination.

Where is Fair Miles Logistics based?

Lake Ann, Michigan. USDOT 4582393, MC 1824275. Our dispatch team covers extended hours because brokers send rate confirmations at all hours.
